You may have all noticed {g} I like making icons (though, with the new computer being just that slightly different resolution, it's gonna take a while for me to get the way I see them when working quite right, muttergrumble....) When I first joined LJ, I thought they were pretty and clever, but I didn't see the point of them for me, and for the first few years I used a simple (and to be honest rather crude) version of my default (which, for anyone who doesn't know, if from the film Alice by surrealist Jan Svankmajer, and versions of which have always been my default ( Read more... )

It's National Art Making Month over at naarmamo, and so I will be trying for four weeks of GIPs (let no one say they weren't warned), at least one a day on whatever inspires me that day, fannish or nonfannish, serious or silly or whatever...
